SiNOPSiS : STOP
SANG SINGA PURBA will be immersed in a series of courses while preparing for MUZIKARAMA as well as other events. For the first part of this year, the first ever SiNOPSiS brings our cubs to their next level of play, literally. As a symbolic contradiction, the first ever SiNOPSiS theme starts with : STOP.
SiNOPSiS will showcase 3 works, of different genre to the theme: STOP, by the cubs - of only 10 Minutes, and hence it's name. This project based assignment gathers the cubs to research, develop and practice their skills they have learnt thus far into a work of art. The three groups will be advised by 2 senior lions of their choice.
The Critic round (open to all in SSP) will have their work, commented and scored by a chosen panel of critics. Eventually, the three works will be performed on that 16th MAY 2009, the last day of SiNOPSiS with their final scores and commentary.
SO COME WITH YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS ON THE 16TH MAY 2009 and finally enjoy new breath of works from the new generations of Lions!

SSP : CONGRATULATIONS
 We would like to shout out our congratulations to one of our members, Md Hafiz and his family! Md Hafiz's siblings Md. Hasif & Nur Habriyah were the recipient of the Best Newcomer and Best Child Actor Awards! Syabas! Of course, as stated above, congratulations to the production houses of the mentioned television programs. We are honored to have home one of the nominees of the Pesta Perdana 10 - so congratulations to Md Arif who have made us proud indeed!

 Sang Singa Purba Performing Arts just celebrated 5 years of friendship through our dedicated passion for the arts. Within 5 years from our humble beginnings, we have expanded and spread the wondrous beauty of the Theatrical Arts & Malay Culture to a total membership of over 120 odd members. From literary competitions to renowned televised shows, shopping centres to public theatre overseas - it is indeed a dream for budding talents from Singapore Polytechnic to realise the same goal with hundreds of others.Hence we are dedicating this space for all of you out there.
